Before we were taught to look around in fear, we naturally looked around in wonder.
People often ask me how to tell the difference between fear and intuition.
The voice of fear often sounds like the voices of others. To me it feels frenetic, dramatic, constricting and heavy.
It’s demanding.
Having a “gut feeling” to move away from something doesn’t feel like fear to me.
It’s calm, clear, directive.
The voice says, “move” with such certainty and authority, I move before the emotion of fear has a chance to kick in.
This is the voice of intuition rooted in survival. It says, things like, no, stop, or move away.
Then there’s another intuitive voice – the one rooted in the heart, in desires and growth.
This voice tells me what to move towards.
It’s calm, clear, directive and commanding.
It’s expansive, light and uplifting.
These “voices” feel completely different in my body.
The accompanying thoughts sounds completely different in my head.
Learning the language of intuition has been “everything” for me.
That is why I’m passionate about helping others turn up the volume on their own inner guidance system.
