A Painful “Spiritual” Mistake

Hi there,

Today I want to talk to you about something I see a lot in the Spiritual community and something I used to really struggle with myself.

Here’s what I’ve noticed…

Watch the video or read the article below…

As highly conscious, empathic people we are really gifted at honing in on the light within others.

One of the words we hear a lot in our community is “Namaste.” And it’s a beautiful word that means “I see the light in you.” Or “the divine in me sees and acknowledges the Divine in you.”

As light workers, we easily see the light in others. We see their True Divine Nature and their potential. We uphold that we are all made in the image and likeness of God, one with all that is and ever will be.

Seeing the True Divine Essence of others is an incredible gift AND at the same time something to be mindful of because here’s the thing…

People are NOT their potential.

One of the most painful lessons I’ve had to learn, as a Soul who so easily sees the light in others, is just because there IS light doesn’t mean the person is CHOOSING light.

Some people are Divine Beings AND assholes.

We are all powerful, Divine creators of our own experience and Some people use their Free will and divine power to be jerks. And it’s okay! It’s a completely valid choice.

We can SEE the light within them, SEE them as the powerful creators they are, AND choose to let them be in their experience WITHOUT us.

Just because we see the light within them…it doesn’t mean we have the right or responsibility or OBLIGATION to have them in our lives, to convince them to express that light and embody the potential we see in them.

We all know people who are awesome at Soul level, but pretty mean and crappy in their human expression.

It’s okay to say, “namaste, now go away.”

It’s okay to see the light within someone AND not allow them into your life. It’s okay to love someone as a Spiritual bring and NOT like them as a human being.

If that’s the case, don’t hang around with them. Love them, bless them and RELEASE them. You’ll be doing you both a favor.

You can stop struggling, tolerating, rescuing, trying to “fix” them and force them to realize their potential and they can be with their choices without you judging, nagging or being frustrated with them all the time.

If you haven’t already, you may want to learn when to say, “Namaste, now go away.”  Just because you see the light doesn’t mean you need to tolerate the jerks!

If you are allowing someone to mistreat you, you have the power to disengage and stop participating.

There is nothing Spiritual about allowing yourself to be mistreated or disrespected.
To Your Divinity!
