Fatigue & Your Soul’s Purpose

sleeping studentI recently heard a motivation speaker say if you want to be successful you have to be willing to give up sleep. At first, I thought that sounded so unhealthy, unbalanced and more like force, drive and workaholism than divine creation so I disregarded his message as “not for me.”

But then it hit me. I’ve noticed that when we are really tuned into our purpose and taking action to express our Divine nature, the quality of our sleep and the amount we require actually changes. In our highest creative actions, Source/Creative energy flows through us so uninhibited that we don’t need as much sleep to “re-fuel.” We need much more sleep when we’re impeding creative flow by doing things out of obligation or because we think we have to or “should.” After a day full of action that is aligned to your Soul and your unique purpose, I’ve noticed we also sleep better.

If you’re tired, rundown, worn out and drained or you need tons of sleep (or tons of caffeine) to keep you going, consider it feedback. Though it may seem “normal” because many people live this way, it is NOT normal. You have access to an abundance of energy and doing your purpose taps you right in to that Divine power supply.

The simple (though not easy) solution to fatigue? Know your purpose, do your purpose and sleep just the right amount.

Have a wonderful weekend!

To Your Divinity!
